Please help us find which branch of our Pegram tree this family should be placed on. Many years ago, I heard from Ruby Edith Pegram of Chesapeake, WV. She was born Setp. 18, 1909 in Dothan (Fayette Co.) West Virginia. She sent the names of her brothers, sisters, neices and nephews but we did not get her parents names. Also, even though she was aware that she was descended from John Pegram and wife Parthenia Bell, she did not share what she had in between. She knew about Parthenia Bell because she apparently held the family Bible that had been brought from NC. She was the first clue that we had on the fact that Parthenia Bell was the wife of John Pegram. We are highlighting this family in hopes that someone will recognize a family member and contact us.
