The 1900 Census gives his name as Yancy S. but the 1930 Census gives his name as Yancy A. Fulp. The birth dates come from family records and differ from the 1930 Census. We have found another record which says that our Yancy was married to someone else but besides the family records and Census records, we have found the WWI Draft Registration card for our Yancy which clearly gives his name as Yancy Stephen Fulp. It gives his employer's (?father's) name as Melvin Roberson Fulp and his wife as Essie Lee Fulp.

His obituary published in the Winston-Salem Journal reads in part: Mr. Fletcher Whitaker Fulp, 81, of Winston-Salem, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1918, in Forsyth County to Yancey S. and Essie Lee Pegram Fulp. Mr. Fulp was retired from Imperial Tobacco Co. after 30 years of service. Surviving are four sisters, Ida Lee Watkins and Mildred F. Shields, both of Winston-Salem, Barbara Anita Grubbs of Rocky Point and Margie Kiger of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a brother, Yancey S. Fulp Jr. of Winston-Salem.

John married Irene Vernon daughter of Robert L. Vernon and Lizzie A. about 1929. Irene was born ¹ about 1915 in Belews Creek, Forsyth Co., North Carolina.

Her obituary which appeared in the Greensboro News & Records on June 03, 1997 reads in part as follows:

Mrs. Irene Mozell Vernon Pegram Petroff, 84, of 812 Birch Lane, Apt. 7-G, died Monday, June 2, 1997, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be conducted 4 p.m. Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Cain Kernersville Chapel, by Dr. Bobby Roberson. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. Mrs. Petroff was born in Guilford County, a daughter of Robert Lee and Elizabeth Craig Vernon. She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edith Newell of Greensboro, Mrs. Laura Williams of Kernersville, Mrs. Ethelene Weems of Summerfield; five sons, James Pegram and Johnny Pegram, both of Greensboro, Raymond Pegram of Edwards, Missouri, Bobby Pegram of McLeansville, Jerry Pegram of Evansville, Indiana; a sister, Ethel Jackson of Mayodan; a brother, Robert Vernon of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Thomas Harold Folwell was born 1 on 18 Oct 1938 in Guilford Co., North Carolina. He died on 20 Feb 2000 in Durham, Durham Co., North Carolina. His obituary from the Highpoint Enterprise reads as follows: Thomas H. Folwell Jr., 61, died Feb. 20, 2000, at Duke Medical Center, Durham, after a brief illness. He was born in High Point and was a graduate of Guilford College. He earned his master?s degree in economics at Duke University. In 1963, he began his teaching career at Campbell University. During his years at Campbell, his achievements and awards were many and include such things as being the present director of the Southeastern Trust School, a former board member of the North Carolina 4-H Foundation and gubernatorial appointed member of the North Carolina State Library Commission. He was former director of the Buies Creek Branch of Mid-South Bank, and presently served as trustee for Good Hope Hospital. He served as the chairman of the department of business and the director of the MBA Program. In 1983, he was named the dean of the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. In 1975, he received the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce Award. He earned the Excellence in Teaching Award in 1970. In 1977, he received the Outstanding Faculty Award and in 1981, was named the Teacher of the Year at Campbell University. In addition to these honors, the Pine Burr Annual for Campbell was dedicated to him twice, in 1974 and in 1993. He was a member of the Buies Creek First Baptist Church and was the church moderator. Other former positions held in the church included, deacon, chairman of the finance committee and chairman of the Capital Fund Raising Committee. He continued to remain active at work and his community until his death. Surviving are his wife, Judy O. Folwell of the residence; a daughter, Carolyn Holubec, and her husband, Bryan, of Taylor, Texas; and a grandson, Michael Holubec. Memorial service will be 7 p.m. today at Buies Creek First Baptist Church by Dr. Michael Simmons, Dr. John Rogers, Dr. Norman Wiggins and Dr. Jerry Wallace. Visitation will be immediately after the service at the Rumley Center at Campbell University. Memorials may be directed to Campbell University Advancement Office, P.O. Her obituary published November 22, 1995 in the Greensboro News & Record reads in part:

Mrs. Stella Mabe Pegram, 87, of 3206 N. Hayden St. died Tuesday, November 21, 1995, at her residence. A native of Stokes County, Mrs. Pegram was a member of Saints Delight Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Billy L. Pegram of Reidsville, Max E. Pegram, Richard Pegram; daughters, Peggy Maynard, Becky Shepard, all of Greensboro; sisters, Jean Sheilds of Kernersville, Gypsy Deal of High Point; brother, Robert Mabe of Winston-Salem; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

They had the following children:
