1683. Virginia Pegram ^{1, 2} (William Benjamin , John , Edward , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born ^{3, 4} on 27 Dec 1849 in Owensboro, Daviess Co., Kentucky. She died on 15 Jul 1925 in Washington, District of Columbia.

The 1910 Census shows that she has had 11 children with 8 living. Norman and Octavia are still single living at home.

Virginia married ¹ Allan Gilmour son of Matthew Gilmour and Elizabeth Kerr on 29 Jun 1868 in Owensboro, Daviess Co., Kentucky. Allan was born ^{2, 3} on 2 May 1835 in Ayrshire, , Ayr, Scotland. He died ⁴ in Feb 1907 in Atlantic City, Atlantic Co., New Jersey.

In 1860, he is found living in Richmond where he is shown as a tobacco merchant.

The notice of his probate appeared in the March 3, 1907 edition of the Washington Post and reads:

Allan Gilmour, a retired merchant and a native of Scotland, formerly residing at 1819 I street northwest, who died last Tuesday, left an estate valued at more than $150,000, according to his will, dated February 8, 1905. which was filed for pro-bate yesterday. Mr. Gilmour states In his will that his eons. Alan Pegram Gilmour and William Pegram Gilmour. having each received $10,000, a like amount is bequeathed to each of his other children--Virginia Pegram Gilmour. Minnie Hamilton Gilmour, Marjorie-Kerr Gilmour, Octavia Cochrane Gilmour, Robert Thom Gilmour, N. Maxwell. K. Gilmour, and Hugh Gilmour. The bequests to the daughters are to be invested for them and they are to receive the Income from it. The bequests to Hugh and Octavia Cochrane Gilmour are to from a part of the residue of the estate until they shall have reached the ago of twenty-one years. The rest and residue of the estate is conveyed In trust to Mrs. Virginia Pegram Gilmour, the wife; Alan Pegram Gilmour; William Pegram Gilmour. and Robert Thom Glamour, sons; James Hamilton, of Detroit. Mich., son-in-law, and John Combe Pegram, of Providence. R. I., brother-in-law as Trustees for the benefit of his wife to be divided at her death equally among his children.

Maria married Daniel A. Wilson son of John Wilson and Cornelia. Daniel was born ^{1, 2} in Nov 1847 in Virginia.

In 1880, the couple were living with his parents in Prince Edward Co., Virginia.

The 1900 Census shows the couple have been married for 23 years. Maria has had 3 children with 2 living, both of whom are still at home.

Daniel was a tobacco trader.

On the 1900 Census for Texas, they are living in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas. They have been married for 14 years and have had 2 children with 1 living. His occupation is given as "Artist".

William married Mary Moss ¹. Mary was born ² in Jan 1864 in Texas.

The 1900 Census reflects the couple have been married for 45 years. They have had 7 children with 5 living.

Elizabeth married ^{2, 3} Rev. Patrick Gibson Robert ¹ son of John Robert and Amanda Pamela McRae on 5 Oct 1854 in "Oakland" Greensville Co. Virginia. Patrick was born ^{4, 5} on 16 Dec 1827 in Richmond, Henrico Co., Virginia. He died in 1904 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri.

He was a Priest in the Episcopal Church, serving in Greenville Co., Virginia and later in Little Rock, Arkansas.

				Edward married Edna McMullen 1. Edna was born on 5 Aug 1868 in Allegheny, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. She died on 15 Jan 1956 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri. Mrs Edward Scott Robert (Elisabeth Walton McMillan), 43, was born August 5, 1868 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John McMillan and Elisabeth Walton. She was first married to Judge Madill who was 30 years her senior and she was widowed after only 6 years of marriage in December 1901. Her second marriage lasted only 7 years and this husband, Edward Scott Robert, had been a pallbearer at the funeral of her first husband. Following the death of Edward S. Robert in December of 1911, Elizabeth and her daughter sought to escape their sorrow by taking a trip to Europe, returning on the Titanic. A resident of St. Louis, Missouri, she boarded the Titanic at Southampton with her niece, Elisabeth Walton Allen, her daughter from her marriage to Judge Madill Georgette Alexandra Madill, and her maid Emilie Kreuchen. She occupied cabin B-3. Elisabeth Robert was rescued in lifeboat 2. She died January 15, 1956. The family is buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs. Robert, always especially kind and thoughtful of her family's servants, took the highly unusual step of seeing to it that when three of the black servants died (Katherine Harris in 1937, Laura Belle Harris in 1942, and Viola Harris Douglas in 1945) the women were buried with the rest of the Madill family in Bellefontaine.

				Lee married Gertrude Thomas.

1691. Edward Pegram Scott ¹ (Edward Pegram Scott , Martha P. Pegram , Edward , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born ² on 26 Nov 1840 in "Oakland" Greensville Co. Virginia. He died ^{3, 4} on 11 Feb 1878 in Longview, Texas.

His maternal grandparents were James Wilkins and wife Elizabeth Jones.

According to school records, he entered V.M.I. on Sept. 14, 1859 and was dismissed Oct. 30, 1860 for excessive "demerits".

During the Civil War he served as Capt. 12th Virginia Infantry, Co. F. He was wounded in leg and captured at Burgess Mill Oct. 27, 1864. He was held at Old Capital Prison in Washington D.C. until he was released at the request of his grand-uncle US Lt. Gen. W. Scott and placed into his custody in New York.

Batte gives date of death as 11 Feb. 1875.

Edward married Mary Alice Merill daughter of Granville Merill and Unknown on 22 Jan 1868. Mary was born ¹ in Jun 1849 in Little Rock, Pulaski Co., Arkansas. She died after 1900.

	5203	M	ii	Edward P. Scott 1, 2 was born 3 in Sep 1874 in Texas. In 1900 he was living with an uncle, William Wilkins, in Panola Co., Texas where he was working as a fireman with the railroad.

1696. Martha Scott (Patty) (Polly) Jones (Susan Emeline Scott , Martha P. Pegram , Edward , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born ^{1, 2} on 1 Apr 1841 in Greenville Co., Virginia. She died ³ on 1 Jan 1882 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Martha married Dr. Samuel Nicholson ^{1, 2} son of John Edmunds Nicholson and Julia Ann Briggs on 22 Dec 1869. Samuel was born ³ on 17 Aug 1829 in Wakefield, Sussex, Virginia.

They had the following children:

1699. Elizabeth Edwa Jones (Susan Emeline Scott , Martha P. Pegram , Edward , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born ^{1, 2} on 23 Mar 1847 in "Fairview", Near Demopolis, Morengo Co., Alabama. She died ^{3, 4} on 23 Jul 1921 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The 1900 Census shows the couple have been married for 29 years. The census shows they have had 5 children with 3 living which differs from other sources. At the time of the 1900 Census, Peter and Sudie are still living in the home.

Her birth date on the 1900 census is given as 1850. It also gives her place of birth as Virginia.

Elizabeth married ^{2, 3} Peter Edward Hellwege ¹ on 23 Nov 1871 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Peter was born ^{4, 5} on 19 Oct 1843 in Nuenfeldt, Germany. He died ⁶ on 9 Dec 1907 in Waveland, Mississippi. He was buried ⁷ in New Orleans, Metairie Cemetery.

	5222	F	iv	Maud(e) A. Fletcher was born 1, 2 about 1871 in Virginia. The 1900 Census gives her date of birth as Dec. 1876 but the 1880 census is probably closer to correct. The 1900 Census reflects she has been married less than a year and has no children.
				Maud(e) married Adolphus Riggsbee son of Carney Riggsbee and Sarah A. E. Yates on 10 Aug 1899 in Etowah Co., Alabama. Adolphus was born 1, 2 in Apr 1864 in North Carolina. He died in 1938 in Tampa, Hillsborough Co., Florida.

1711. Mary Jacqueline Fisher (Mary Ann Pegram , Robert Edward , Edward , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born ^{1, 2} on 15 Sep 1828 in probably Dinwiddie Co., Virginia. She died before 1880.

In addition to the childrn shown, there was apparently another daughter who died prior to 1880 since the census includes Robert Lee Harris, grandson, age 1mo.

Mary married Lazarus Noble Lindsey son of John Brown Lindsey and Maria Ann Noble on 26 Oct 1852 in Vicksburg, Warren Co., Mississippi. Lazarus was born on 15 Jul 1822 in Newport, Pendleton Co., Kentucky. He died on 24 May 1892.

His occupation on the 1880 Census is given as "U. S. Commissioner".

Lazarus and Mary had the following children:
