11302. Robert Baker Pegram ¹ (Robert Baker , Robert Baker , Robert Baker , John , Edward , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born ^{2, 3} in 1907 in Tennessee. He died on 3 Jun 1962.

He graduated from the Virginia Military Academy and the Harvard School of Finance. Mr. Pegram was a banker, and then with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.

He and his wife Nancy were killed in an airplane crash at Orly Field, Paris, France on 3 June 1962. They were part of a group that was visiting France, by chartered plane, for the observation and study of the arts. The people who were killed in this crash took the very heart of the Atlanta connoisseurs and benefactors of the arts.

Robert married Nancy Frederick daughter of Claude Melnote Frederick and Annie Oliva Cawthorn on 13 Apr 1932 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia. Nancy was born ¹ on 14 Dec 1910. She died on 3 Jun 1962 in Paris, France.

William, like his father, was an engineer and worked in public utilities. In 1930, William Newton and his brother were living together in Philadelphia.

Dorothy married ² Harold Walter Glidden ¹ son of Walter Glidden and Caroline Kramer in Jun 1938. Harold was born ³ on 30 Sep 1910 in Rochester, New York. He died on 14 Mar 1990 in Arlington, Virginia.

He was a graduate of The University of Rochester and received his Ph.D. from Princeton University's Oriental Institute. Prior to his retirement in 1970 he was Chief of the Near East Division of Research and Analysis at the U.S. Department of State.

Survived by two sons, Cartwright Eustis IV, New Orleans, and Charles L. Eustis, Baton Rouge; a brother, Horatio S. Eustis, New Orleans; a sister, Saudie E. Sutter, Metairie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth Nourse Eustis; two brothers, Scott H. and Edward Eustis; and a sister, Saudie Eustis Sutter.

Cartwright married Elizabeth Nourse.

They had the following children:

She is survived by one daughter, Kitsy Schwartzmann, Hammond; five sons, Stenning and Gleeson Murphy, both of Picayune, Scott Murphy and Clifford Sutter, both of New Orleans, and Malcolm Sutter of Atlanta, Ga.; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Sutter; her parents, Cartwright and Sudie Hellwege Eustis; four brothers, Cartwright, Ebo, Scott and Horatio Eustis; and one sister, Sudie Eustis. A memorial service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Chapel in New Orleans. "
