Gracie Perdue Crouch, 69, of 1301 Hawkins St., Reidsville died Tuesday, January 3, 1995. A native of Stokes County, she was of the holiness faith and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Paul Crouch of the home; one daughter, Linda Halbrook of Reidsville; three sons, Joe Crouch, Donnie Myrick, Mitchell Myrick all of Reidsville; one sister, Mattie King of Greensboro; four brothers, Norman Perdue and Avery Perdue both of Greensboro, Albert Perdue of Mt. Airy, and Ed Perdue of Sanford; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Gracy married (1) Myrick.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. Carman." Her obituary in part reads: Maxine Carman, 79, died Feb. 20, 2005, at a local hospital. She lived in Fort Pierce since 1975, coming from New York. She was past president of the Adult Learn to Read program and board member of the United Way and the Opera Society.
